Key Metrics

Cached valuation and profitability ratios for a company, sourced from Financial Modeling Prep and served only from the database cache. This endpoint requires a Starter plan or higher.

Endpoint

GET /v1/company/{identifier}/metrics

{identifier} is a ticker or numeric CIK.

Plan requirement

This is a vendor endpoint gated to Starter plans and above. Free-tier keys receive 403 with code upgrade_required:

Caching and staleness

Reads never proxy a live request to the vendor. Data is considered fresh for 24 hours; older rows are still returned but flagged "stale": true while the scheduler refreshes them. A cache miss returns an empty items list with "stale": false (not an error).

Error codes
