1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FinancialDataAPIs(“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FinancialDataAPIs provides a REST API and MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for computing quantitative trading signals, backtesting strategies, and accessing financial market data. The Service is intended for developers, quantitative analysts, and AI agents.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Exceeding rate limits or attempting to circumvent them
• Reselling or redistributing data without a written agreement
• Using the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service

5. API Keys and Authentication

API keys are issued per account and must be included in every request via the X-API-Key header. You may create, disable, and revoke keys from your dashboard. You are responsible for all activity occurring under your API keys.

6. Pricing and Billing

The Service offers tiered pricing plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Overage charges apply when monthly request limits are exceeded. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. See our Pricing page for current rates.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its API, documentation, and signal computation algorithms, is owned by FinancialDataAPIs. You retain ownership of any code, strategies, or applications you build using the Service. Signal outputs and backtest results generated through the Service may be used in your own applications.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of financial data or signal computations. The Service is not intended to provide financial advice. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

9. Limitation of Liability

FinancialDataAPIs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
